OUR IMPACT: BY THE NUMBERS

Since our inception in 1993, we have affected over 220,000 children in the United States of America, Africa, and the Caribbean through our development and relief programs for children.

  • 197,000 children and youth have benefited from our Gift of Books project that has distributed over 2 million books to support literacy and improve the quality of education in South Africa, Liberia, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, Cameroon, Jamaica, and Ghana.
  • 5,382 children and youth in Metropolitan Atlanta have been served by our mentoring, prevention education, and summer programs to prevent delinquency and improve academic success.
  • 6,854 men, women, and children in Metropolitan Atlanta, Nigeria, Kenya, and Haiti have received emergency assistance such as food, transitional housing, rent/utility assistance, and other supportive services to meet basic needs during time of crisis.
  • 12,504 children and youth in Nigeria, South Africa, Senegal, and Ghana have received scholarships, sports training, and HIV/AIDS prevention education.
